Potter, Mary C. (5 JUN 1941)

At a wedding performed in Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls on Thursday morning, June 5, 1941, at 8 o’clock, Mis Mary C. Potter became the bride of Frank G. Plecity of Stanley. The bride was attired in dark blue traveling dress with white accessories and carried lilies of the valley and gardenias.

Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Potter, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, were the only attendants. Mrs. Potter wore a blue redingote dress with a should corsage of pink flowers.

A wedding breakfast was served at the A.J. Potter residence to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klauck and Miss Verona Klauck of Withee; Mrs. Homer Potter and daughter, Mary Jane, of Marshfield; Mrs. Margaret McKee of Polley; and Mr. and Mrs. James A. Potter and Miss Josephine Burrows.

The bride has taught school in Clark and Taylor Counties and has been principal of the state graded school at Polley for the past 11 years. Her husband is employed as a bookkeeper by the Gilman Manufacturing Company at Stanley.

After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Plecity will be at home in Stanley.
