Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Bernice R. Kelley to Grant C. Rear, formerly of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), who now is stationed at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. The ceremony took place June 9, 1942 at Centenary Methodist Church, St. Louis, Mo., the Rev. Mr. Crowe officiating. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rear, Milwaukee, formerly Greenwood residents.

In the wedding party were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brandt, Miss Elaine Cleary and Thomas Maloney, all of St. Louis.

The bride wore a fitted green suit with a corsage bouquet of white orchids. The groom was in uniform.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the Coronado Hotel in St. Louis. The bride and bridegroom, who is a graduate of Greenwood High School with the class of ’33, will reside in St. Louis.

On their wedding trip they went to northern Wisconsin. They visited with the groom’s parents, in Milwaukee and with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Dueysen, Laona.
