Radke, Ruby (10 OCT 1942)

At 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 1942, the Rev. Ellery J. Beal read the nuptial rites for the double ring ceremony which united in marriage Miss Ruby Radke, daughter of Mrs. Clydia Radke of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Carroll Calhoun, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Calhoun, also of Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Radke, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, were the only attendants.

The bride was attired in a long white satin dress fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and full sleeves. Her veil was caught to her curls with a rhinestone tiara and she carried pink roses and white pompons. Her attendant wore an aqua taffeta gown with white accessories and carried pink carnations and roses.

A 7 o’clock wedding supper was served to the immediate relatives at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Green, sister and brother-in-law of the bride.

Mrs. Calhoun was graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1942 and Mr. Calhoun has been employed by the Carnation Milk Co. for the past 11 years.
