Linneman, Henry E. (18 SEP 1871 - 19 DEC 1938)

Funeral services were held Dec. 22 at Burlington, Iowa, for Henry E. Linneman, 67, who died Dec. 19, 1938 at the home of his nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Weaver, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), with whom he had been making his home since May 1936.

At 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, Dec. 21, a short service was held at the Griebenow-Weirich Funeral Home in Owen, after which the body was taken to Burlington. Interment was made in the Aspen Grove Cemetery there. Death was caused by a stroke of spoplexy.

Mr. Linneman was born in Burlington, Iowa, Sept. 18, 1871. He lived there until 1919, when he came to Greenwood and settled on a farm in the Town of Mead. In 1931 he was forced to give up farming due to ill health, and returned to Burlington. He lived with relatives there until he came to Owen in 1936.

Surviving besides his wife are two brothers and four sisters, all residing in Burlington, Iowa, and his nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Weaver, Owen, Wis.
