Mr. and Mrs. Ray Shutter, Tomah, announce the marriage of their daughter, Reba Ann, to Sgt Robert Russell Fischer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Fischer, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), in a wedding ceremony performed June 6, 1946, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. M.L. Havda reading the vows in the First Methodist Church at Tomah. Flowers and lighted candles decorated the altar. Mrs. Havda sang "I Love You Truly" and "Always."

Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Zellmer, Nekoosa, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, Arlan Huber, Greenwood, and Miss Phyllis Shutter, a sister of the bride.

The bride wore an ivory taffeta frock embroidered with seed pearls and a fingertip veil of illusion caught to a seed pearl tiara. She carried American Beauty roses and white carnations tied with white satin ribbon.

Mrs. Zellmer, matron of honor, wore pink taffeta, and Miss Shutter, bridesmaid, was attired in blue taffeta. Headdresses of matching colored flowers completed their attire and they carried colonial bouquets of sweet peas and red roses.

Covers were laid for 50 guests at the dinner served after the ceremony at the Shutter home. Pink, blue and white streamers decorated the residence. A dance was held the next evening at the Silver Dome.

Mrs. Fischer was graduated from the Tomah High School in 1943 and Mr. Fischer is a member of the graduating class of Greenwood High School in 1941. After the bridegroom is discharged from Army service they will take a wedding trip. At present they are residing in Tomah. Mrs. Fischer had been employed at Camp McCoy for three years.

Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Fischer, Arlan Huber, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Voss and family, Andover, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Zellmer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Tracy, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Bigelow, Nekoosa.
