Miss Rita Lucille Lindner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lindner, route 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Glenn Michael Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Stewart, Greenwood, in a ceremony conducted by the Rev. J.J. Novak at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood, at 9 a.m., June 5, 1947.

Miss Theresa Lindner, twin sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. She owre yellow taffeta and wore a shoulder corsage of carnations. Miss Joan Lindner, another sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. She wore pink taffeta and a shoulder corsage of carnations.

The groom was attended by Robert Sarazin, as best man, and Keith Stewart, his brother.

The bride wore a princess style embroidered satin dress with a full-length veil, trimmed with lace inserts and edging. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white carnations.

A wedding breakfast was served the bridal party at the home of the bride’s parents, where a reception was held during the late afternoon. A dance was held honoring the couple at Merry Ol’ Gardens that evening.

Before her marriage, Mrs. Stewart was employed as cashier at the Farmer’s Store, Greenwood. The groom is employed as an accountant by J.F. Pinion, Marshfield.

Following a honeymoon spent in the Black Hills, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart will be at home to their friends at 308 S. Walnut Street.
