Glick, Nancy (27 NOV 1947)

Mr. and Mrs. Jay B. Harlow, who were married by the Rev. B.M. Fresenborg at Zion Reformed Church on Thursday, Nov. 27, 1947, are making their home at Milwaukee where the bridegroom is employed.

The former Nancy Glick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Glick, Milwaukee, was gowned in white satin for her marriage to Mr. Harlow, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Luzovec, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). The entrained gown buttoned down the back and was fashioned with a peplum. Her finger-tip veil was draped over a headdress of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white mums centered with pink and blue mums and roses.

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Jensen, Watertown, S.D., attended the couple. Mrs. Jensen, a sister of the bride, wore a gold taffeta gown and a headband of gold colored roses. She carried a colonial bouquet of white and gold mums tied with blue streamers.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and dinner was served there to relatives and friends.

The bridegroom is a veteran of three and one-half years’ service in the Navy and six months’ service in the Army.
