Reineking, Elvera (4 JUN 1949)

Now touring the western states are Mr. and Mrs. William Orlin A. Fravert, who were married Saturday, June 4, 1949, at the West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). Officiating at the 1:30 p.m. service was the Rev. J.C. Klingeberger.

The bride is the former Miss Elvera V. Reineking, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Reineking, Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Fravert are the groom’s parents. They are also of Greenwood.

Miss Eldora Reineking, Greenwood, was her sister’s maid of honor. Mrs. Norman Reineking, Greenwood, was bridesmaid,a nd Donna Lou Meinholdt, Greenwood, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Best man was LeRoy Fravert, Greenwood, brother of the groom. The groom’s other attendant was Norman Reineking. Ushers were Allen Fravert, another brother of the groom, and Junior Wehrman, cousin of the bride.

A heer marquisette gown featuring a bertha collar and a peek a boo skirt was worn by the bride. Her finger-tip veil of French illusion was edged with Chantilly lace and fell from a tiara of seed pearls and rhinestones. She carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and lilies of the valley.

Gowns of marquisette styled similarly to that of the bride were worn by the bridal aides. Their outfits were completed with matching mitts and bonnets, and they carried bouquets of yellow carnations.

A large reception was held a the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Reineking and a dinner was served in the church parlors. A dance was given in the Merry Ol’ Gardens.

Mrs. Fravert was graduated from Greenwood High School and Central state Teachers College, Stevens Point. She taught two years at the Beaver Center School, Loyal. Mr. Fravert was graduated from Greenwood High School and is engaged in farming. The couple will live in Greenwood.
