Irene Kellner

Irene Kellner, 89, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, in Bonduel.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Reverend Leonard Wildauer presiding.

Family and friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of services. Burial will be in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery in Dorchester, Wis.

Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Irene was born March 15, 1917, in the Town of Green Valley, the daughter of the late Frank and Hulda (Simon) Busch.

She was married to Walter J. Kellner on March 29, 1969, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bonduel. They farmed in the Town of Holton until 1985 when they retired and moved to the Village of Dorchester, Wis. Walter preceded Irene in death on August 1, 1988.

Irene moved to Bonduel in 2000 and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and St. Paul’s Ladies Aid. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and flowers.

She is survived by a sister, Hertha (Roger) Olson, Pulaski; three brothers, Martin (Violet) Busch, Shawano, Harold Busch, Cecil and Gerhardt Busch, Bonduel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter; two sisters, Gladys and Leona; and two brothers, Clarence and Frank Jr.
