Krultz, Antonia (3 JAN 1891 - 17 JUL 1946)

Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) - Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o’clock for Mrs. Mike Krultz, 56, Willard, route 1, who died at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday (Jul 17, 1946) at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Mrs. Krultz, who had been in poor heath for some time, suffered a stroke at her home the evening of July 14 and was taken to the Marshfield Hospital. She never regained consciousness.

The body is lying in state at the Krultz home located eight miles west of Greenwood. Funeral rites will be held at the home and will be in charge of the Slovenian National Benefit Society. Members of the society will serve as honorary pallbearers, while son s and sons-in-law will be active pallbearers. Interment will take place in the Willard (National) Cemetery.

Mrs. Krultz, the former Antonia Prosence, was born in Yugoslavia Jan. 3, 1891, and was married in 1910 to Mike Krultz.

The same year of their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Krultz came to the United States and settled in Kansas. Twenty-six years ago they came to Willard.

Surviving are her husband, three sons, Mike Jr. and Selvian, both of Willard, and Walter, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Frieda) Klanchar and Mrs. Ludwig (Elma) Hribar, both of Willard; a brother residing in Kansas, and eight grandchildren. Two daughters, Ann and Mary, died in infancy.
