Earl, Evelyn (26 JUL 1937)

The parsonage of St. Catherine’s of Genoa in Chicago was the scene of a beautiful wedding Monday afternoon, July 26th, 1937, at which time Miss Evelyn Earl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Earl of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) became the bride of Ray J. Quinn of Rice Lake. The ceremony was performed by Rev. R.F. O’Connor.

The bride wore a suit of white silk gabardine with accessories to match. Her corsage was made from gardenias and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid, Mrs. Charles Earl, wore a suit of brown sheer crepe, with white accessories. Her corsage consisted of Johanna Hill roses and baby breath.

Mr. Quinn was attended by Charles Earl.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served for the bridal party at Mickelberry Chateau, Beverly Hills, Chicago.

Mrs. Quinn is a graduate of the Owen High School and also of the Eau Claire State Teachers College. The past several years she has been employed as a teacher in the schools at Rice Lake. Mr. Quinn is engaged as auditing manger of the Daily Times at Bedford, Ind.

Mr. and Mrs. Quinn will be at home at 1602 Fifteenth St., Bedford, Ind., after August 4. They are spending their wedding trip in northern Wisconsin.
