Hardwick, Winifred (17 JUN 1944)

Raymond Tesmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Tesmer of Christie (Clark Co., Wis.), and Winifred Hardwick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hardwick of Humbird (Clark Co.), were united in marriage in St. John’s Lutheran Church at Christie by Pastor George Heilman in a 2:30 o’clock ceremony Saturday, June 17, 1944.

They were attended by Miss Joyce Hardwick and Ted Price of Humbird. The double ring ceremony was observed.

Friends and relatives of the couple from Neillsville, Humbird and Christie were present, and dinner was served to the immediate families and close relatives at the home of the bride’s parents near Humbird. Pastor and Mrs. Heilman were among the guests.

The groom is operating a farm near Christie. The bride was employed in a Neillsville Beauty Shop for some time. She is a graduate of the Humbird High School and he of the Neillsville High School.

The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for many years of happy married life.
