Ratsch, Charlotte A. (June 25, 1942 - February 5, 2007)

Charlotte A. Ratsch, age 64, of Granton, died Monday February 5, 2007 at her home.

Charlotte was born June 25, 1942 in the Town of Weston to Clarence and Dorothy (Armitage) Ratsch. Charlotte graduated from Loyal High school in 1960 and from Concoria College in St. Paul, MN in 1964. Charlotte taught at the elementary school in Wayside for 12 years. She then moved to Brillion, WI and was employed at Dvorak Hardware, later purchasing the business. Charlotte also worked at Kwik Trip. Charlotte moved to Granton two years ago and was most recently employed at Cenex in Neillsville, Wis. She enjoyed craft work and spending time with her pet cats. Charlotte will be remembered for her sense of humor and will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Charlotte is survived by her mother, Dorothy Ratsch, of Neillsville; one brother, Stanley (Sharon) Ratsch, of Greenwood; three nieces, Lisa (Geoff) Weinfurtner, Rebecca (Kurt) Krier, and Rachel Ratsch (Ben Nigon).

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, Clarence "Jack" Ratsch in 2004 and by one brother, Bruce Ratsch in 1965.

Funeral services were held on Thursday February 8, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church, MO Synod, in Granton. Rev. John Trewyn officiated. Organist was Caroline Helm. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ron Ratsch, Ben Nigon, Jerry Mardin, Bob Armitage, Geoff Weinfurtner and Kurt Krier.
