Ziebell, Paul (21 MAY 1906 - 22 SEP 1944)

Paul Ziebell, 38, formerly of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) and the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ziebell of Auburndale, died on Sept. 22, 1944, at the Clark County Hospital, near Owen, where he had been for almost two years.

Funeral services were held at Auburndale Monday afternoon, Sept. 25, the Rev. S.E. Rathke, Lutheran pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Auburndale Cemetery. Mrs. Rathke san the song, "Just as I Am" at the services.

Pallbearers were Floyd Smith, Del Anderson and Archie Smith of Loyal, and Albert Kempf, Jerry Stroble and Marvin Hansen of Auburndale.

Flower girls were Joyce, Velma, Lorraine and Nila Hansen and Virginia Mews of Auburndale.

Mr. Ziebell was born in Westfield on May 21, 1906, and is survived by five brothers, Fred of Loyal, William of Waterloo, Ia., Emil of Plainview, Minn., Rheinhard of Waupaca and Henry of Brandon, and by three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Ida) Basta of Milwaukee, Mrs. Charles (Dora) Wodicka of Racine and Mrs. Ervin (Elsie) Koplien of Arpin.

Relatives from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Rheinhard Ziebell of Waupaca, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Ziebell of Plainview, Mrs. Charles Wodicka of Racine, Miss Lois Ziebell and Mrs. John Capetz of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Koplien and children of Arpin, Mrs. Emma Engnath, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Engnath and children, Mrs. Walter Brose and Mrs. Herman Wachholz, all of Westfield, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ziebell and son, Erwin, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Del Anderson, Floyd Smith, Mrs. James Roder, Mrs. Ed Haslow, Mrs. Arthur Strey and son and Mrs. Hillis Kadolph, all of Loyal, and Mrs. Albert Mathias of Neenah.
