Will, Gerald (3 APR 1929 - 23 MAR 1930)

Gerald Will, infant son and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Will, was born April 3, 1929 and died on March 23, 1930 at Grand Rapids, Minn., at the age of 11 months and 20 days.

The body was brought here and buried Wednesday afternoon, March 26th, from the evangelical Church, Rev. P.F. Walter officiating and Anita Hunt, Della Kayhart, Eunice and Margaret Winchell acted as pallbearers and Nora Winchell and Dorothy Kayhart as flower girls.

He came as a shining light to brighten the life of his parents, grandparents and other doting relatives and like a flower, he withered and died, but not as the flower, for he has been transplanted into the garden of God and no blight can ever reach him there.

May God, our heavenly Father, comfort as only He can, the aching hearts.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Will, the parents of Clarence Will, are old residents of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) Country. Mrs. Will is a sister of Joel and Dell Winchell and Mrs. A.D. Hunt, and until ten years ago they lived here and in Little Black Country. New they are living at Calumet, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Will, Ada, Byron and Arline were here, but Harley, another brother of Clarence, was ill and unable to come. Besides the immediate relatives, the others from out of town were Mrs. Wing and Ernest Birise of Unity, and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hinke of Abbotsford, Wis. The Clarion joins the friends in offering sympathy.
