Rahn, Albert (27 SEP 1863 - 23 DEC 1930)

Albert Rahn passed away at his farm home near Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), Tuesday, Dec. 23rd, 1930, at 3:15 in the morning, after an illness of several months duration.

Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 26th, at the Bethany Reformed Church in Curtiss with the Rev. Hartman of Colby officiating. Burial was made in the Pine Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Rahn was born Sept. 27, 1863 in Germany and came to the United States with his parents at the age of 17. They located in Milwaukee and were there for three years, at which time they came to Curtiss and bought a farm where Mr. Rahn has resided the rest of his life. He was married to Miss Margaret Ackermann 45 years ago and to this union four children were born, who with the mother, survive him. They are John of Withee; Charles of Curtiss; Anna (Mrs. C.E. Nelson) of Superior and Albert Jr. at home. He also leaves six grandchildren and a host of friends. We join the many friends in extending the hand of sympathy.
