Garden Valley

Mr. and Mrs. John Gansel and sons spent Sunday at Nick Borger’s at Hixton. Mr. Borger has not been very well lately.

Elmer Duerkop was a caller at Frank Ringrose’s Friday.

Mrs. Joe Flicek was taken quite sick Saturday. Dr. Hewson was called out to see her, and later she was taken to the Krohn Clinic at Black River Falls for treatment.

Everett Wick of Alma Center Saturday and Sunday at Earl Ray’s.

Ole Solum visited Sunday afternoon at Frank Ringrose’s.

Ben Shlimovitz and Geo. Ringrose of Black River Falls were at Steve Ticky’s and Elmer Duerkop’s Saturday.

Olaf Amundson of Merrillan was visiting at Fred Dunn’s last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Ringrose visited at Ed Newell’s and Bert Hanby’s Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Gansel went to Eau Claire Tuesday, taking Mr. Borger to the hospital for treatment.

Mrs. Ed Iverson and Leo Link and wife spent Friday evening at Steve Tichy’s.

Georgie and Dorothy Ellen Atkinson spent Sunday with Mrs. White. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Atkinson and Ralph Burnett were supper guests there also.

Miss Ione Hauge spent Saturday and Sunday at her home in Wrightville.
