Bizer, Mrs. J. (10 JUN 1874 - 23 JUL 1931)

Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) friends were greatly saddened to hear of the death of Mr. J. Bizer, who passed away at the Marshfield Hospital last Thursday after an illness of several months duration. Death was due to hardening of the arteries and complications. For the past eight weeks she has been confined to the Marshfield Hospital and two weeks prior to that she was confined to her bed at her home in Woodman.

Mrs. Bizer, nee Reichert, was born June 10, 1874 in the town of Russell, Sheboygan County. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Reichert. On Oct. 10th, 1894, she was united in marriage to Rev. J. Bizer. To this happy union seven children were born, of which one, Lydia, died in infancy. Mrs. Bizer leaves her husband, her father, George Reichert, four sons, Julius, Eugene, Alvina and Herbert, and two daughters, Hildegarde and Irma, and three grandchildren, Harold, Barbara and James, to mourn her departure. With Rev. Bizer, Mrs. Bizer served the following congregations: Sheboygan, Ia, for six years; Mosel and Meeme for 8 years; Colby, 7 years; Medford and Dorchester, 17 years; and Woodman, 1 year. Mrs. Bizer died at the age of 57 years, 1 month and 13 days.

Funeral services were held Monday with Rev. Erich Bizer, a nephew, conducting the service at the house, and Rev. H. Dallmann and Rev. Armin Bizer officiating at the Medford Evangelical Church.
