Jensen, Amanda (4 SEP 1890 - 26 JUN 1932)

Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) friends will be saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Fred Jensen, who passed away at the Mercy Hospital at Janesville, Sunday afternoon at 3:30. She had been receiving treatments there for the week previous.

Amanda Haeuser was born Sept. 4, 1890, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haeuser, on their farm one mile south of Dorchester, Wis. She grew to womanhood here and in 1909 she was united in marriage to Fred Jensen. In 1918 they moved to Janesville.

She is survived by her mother, her husband, two sons, Maurice and Harold, both of Janesville, four sisters: Mrs. Clem Cagnacci, Chicago; Mrs. Margaret Knopp, Hibbing, Minn.; Mrs. E.N. Sorenson, Abbotsford, and Mrs. John Eakin, Talent, Oregon, and five brothers, Charles and Louis, Innistree, Alberta, Canada; George, Greenwood; and Ernest and Arnold, Fergus Falls, Minn.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Krueger-Cutts Funeral Home at Janesville at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with Rev. Hal E. Norton officiating and burial took place at the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Those attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. E.N. Sorenson and Mrs. Henry Haeuser of Abbotsford; George of Greenwood; Mrs. Knopp, Hibbing, Minn.; Mrs. Clem Cagnacci, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Haeuser of Fergus Falls, Minn.

The many friends of the family join us in offering sincerest sympathy to the mourning ones.
