Harley R. Tison

GRANTON -- Harley R. Tison, of Granton, died March 30, 2007.

Harley was born in 1924 in Omaha, Neb. He was a World War II veteran, serving in both the Air Force and Army, 607th Tank Destroyer Battalion, Northern France. He was a 1960 vice president of Tri-County Component Builders in Naperville, Ill. He was one of the first to mass produce roof trusses for home building.

He is survived by his wife, Nadine Tison; three children, Harley R. Tison Jr. of Homeland, Calif., Rodney D. Tison of Spring Grove, Ill., and Georgia I. Bowen of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
