Albert Seefeldt Dies At Home Wednesday

Well Known Farmer of This Community Had Been In Ill Health and Confined to Bed For Past Two Months.

Albert Seefeldt, age 72 years, died Wednesday evening of last week at his farm home northeast of Spencer. He had been confined to his bed the last two months and had his right leg amputated last fall at St. Joseph hospital in Marshfield, the result of infection. The body was brought to the Swarthout Funeral Home in Spencer, where funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock and another service was held at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran church north of Spencer. The Rev. H. C. Hinz had charge of the services. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

The pall bearers were Otto Manthe, Olaf Manthe, Herman Klein, Raymond Klein, Ray Ditscheit and Walter Justman.

Albert Seefeldt was born in Iron Ridge January 11, 1873, and came to Spencer when a young man. He was married in Spencer February 2, 1910, to Miss Ida Bruss of Spencer. Surviving besides his wife are two brothers, Frank of Adell and Otto of Spencer, and three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Ditscheit and Mrs. Grant (Ida) Baker, both of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Louis (Martha) Schwartz of Unity.
