Miller, Elsie J. (24 MAY 1933)

A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Louis Catholic Church at Dorchester on Wednesday, May 24th, 1933, at 8:30 o’clock in the forenoon when Miss Elsie J. Miller, daughter of Mrs. Antonia Miller, of the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.), and Mr. George J. Krupka, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Krupka of Milan Country, were united in marriage with Father Kreibich officiating.

The bride, who entered the church with her sister Mary, as maid of honor, wore a white crepe dress with silk veil arranged in cap effect and carried a bouquet of roses, carnations, sweet peas and maiden hair ferns.

The maid of honor wore a blue crepe gown, with a shoulder bouquet of mixed flowers. The Misses Margaret Krupka, sister of the groom, and Ida Miller, sister of the bride, were bridesmaids and wore pale green georgette and rose crepe gowns, respectively, with shoulder bouquets of mixed flowers.

Little Billy Hackel, nephew of the bride, acted as ring bearer.

The groom’s attendant was John Miller, brother of the bride.

Immediately after the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the wedding party. At one o’clock dinner was served to the immediate relatives and the home of the bride’s mother.

Out of town guests attending the wedding are Miss Antoinette Miller of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Krupka and family of Milladore, and Margaret Krupka of Eau Claire.

The young couple left on their wedding trip which will include Duluth and Hibbing, Minn., and Ironwood, Mich. They will be at home after June 1st on their farm home near Athens.
