Short, Louisa (1858? - 1935)

A. W. Short went to Oregon last Friday night to attend the funeral of his mother, Mrs. Louisa Short, which was held in that village Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Short passed away Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter in that village, at the age of 77 years. She was a lifelong resident of Oregon and vicinity, and was past president of the Woman’s club of that village, and a member of the Royal Neighbors. Mrs. Short was a frequent visitor at the home of her son here, and has quiet an extended acquaintance in this village. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R. R. Pease, of Oregon; three sons, Arthur, of Oregon, Roy, of Milwaukee, and A. W. Short, of this village; one sister, Mrs. Josephine Jackson, of Columbus, O.; and one brother, Charles Bull, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
