Fristad, Ruth (3 Aug. 1890 - 3 Aug. 1935)

Miss Ruth Fristad, invalid daughter of Mrs. Betsey Fristad, was born August 3, 1890, at Whitehall, Wis. Her life span, peaceful and serene in its beautiful innocence, came to its close Saturday night, August 3, 1935, the anniversary of her birth.

In 1901, she came with her parents to Humbird and has been a helpful member of the family circle. She was cheerful and active in the home and there it is that her presence will be most sadly missed. In the Free Methodist Sunday school, which she attended a number of years, she learned the great lessons of Christianity which guided her footsteps on her earthly journey.

Surviving to mourn her departure are her mother, three brothers, Clarence, Harry, and Nordahl, and one sister, Agnes.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. E. A. Wolfe officiating. Relatives from away present were C. B. Fristad and family, Eau Claire; H. M. Fristad and family, Augusta; Rudolph Lund and Mrs. Oscar Hoage, Wrightville. Many sympathizing friends also attended the services. Burial was in Mentor Cemetery.
