Trimberger, Gudrun (3 Oct. 1899 - 1990)

A memorial service for the public will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, 1990 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Granton, for Gundrun Trimberger, 90.

Cremation was handled by Eau Claire Cremation Society, and internment was in the Church cemetery.

Gudrun Trimberger was born in Norway and came as a little girl to Birchwood, Wisconsin, with her parents, Thomas and Katrina Skar, two brothers and four sisters, all now deceased.

She attended college at Eau Claire Teachers and taught rural schools including Romadka, north of Granton. On June 18, 1924 at Granton, she was married to Walter A. Trimberger, who survives at Neillsville Memorial Home.

She was engaged with her husband in various businesses in Granton, including home milk delivery, gas stations and farm implement sales. She was active in church and civic affairs.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Wayne, of Willard; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Wilma, in infancy and a son, Eugene, in 1988 in Arizona.
