Redetzke, Lorna J. (Marriage - 19 Nov. 1949)

Miss Lorna J. Redetzke, the daughter of Mrs. Mayme Redetzke, route 2, Stratford, became the bride of Nyles R. Fisher, son of Mrs. Edna Fisher of Antigo, at a ceremony which took place Saturday, November 19, at 2 p.m. in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church at March Rapids, the Rev. D. H. Kuehl officiated.

The bride was attired in a smoke-brown street length dress with forest green accessories trimmed with gold and a corsage of yellow Sweetheart roses. Mrs. Ethelyn Griener, sister of the groom, served as matron of honor. She wore a gray street length dress with green accessories. Her corsage consisted of pink Sweetheart roses.

Attending the groom as best man, was his brother, William.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother.

The bride is a graduate of Unity, Wis. High School and the groom, a graduate of Antigo High School, is employed as the assistant manager of the McLellan Store at Antigo.

After a honeymoon trip to an unannounced destination, the couple will reside at Merrill.

The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
