Hudson, Geraldine H.M. (28 FEB 1934)

The marriage of Miss Geraldine H.M. Hudson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy H. Hudson, 2320 Elliot Ave., Minneapolis, and granddaughter of the late H.F. Hudson of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and W. Barr Myhre of St. Paul, son of Mrs. Mary B. Myhre of Winona, has just been announced. The ceremony was performed on Feb. 28, 1934, the twenty-eighth wedding anniversary of the bride’s parents, by Rev. J. J. Lewis of Wesley Foundation Methodist Episcopal Church just off the campus of the University of Minnesota.

Mrs. Myhre is a sophomore in the pre-medical school and a vocal student at the University of Minnesota. Too, she is very prominent in dramatics and other extra-curricular activities at the University.

Mr. Myhre is a graduate of Carleton College, class of 1931, where he was a member of the football and debate teams.

Mrs. Myhre was on the 1933 U. of M. Homecoming committee, is a member of the editorial and business staffs of Ski-U-Mah, campus humor publication, and played the leading role in the University Singers presentation of Victor Herbert’s "Babes In Toyland." It was through their work in University Singers that Mr. and Mrs. Myhre met.

Mr. Myhre is employed by a South St. Paul packing firm, and so Mr. and Mrs. Myhre are at home in St. Paul.

Miss Hudson has been a frequent visitor in Thorp for a number of years past and her numerous friends here readily join the Courier in wishing herself and husband many years of happiness in wedded life.
