Miss Elaine Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Salem Johnson, Unity, was one of three semi-finalists in the judging for "Miss Chicago" on August 18. Elaine will compete in the finals where the winner of this contest will receive a $2500.00 cash award and be awarded a trip to Atlantic City where she will appear in the Miss America Pageant.
Miss Johnson graduated from the Unity, Wis. High School and is employed as a model and dance instructor in Chicago.
