Micke, Cecelia (30 NOV 1935)

Miss Cecelia Micke became the bride of Mr. Frank Velcheck at a ceremony performed at St. Bernard’s Church at seven o’clock mass on Saturday morning, Nov. 30, 1935. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Micke and the groom a son of Mrs. Barbara Velcheck. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A.M. Muckerheide.

The bride was attired in a purple chiffon velvet frock with gold accessories, turban and slippers and carried yellow chrysanthemums.

The bride’s maid of honor was Miss Dolores Micke who was attired in a chiffon velvet frock of royal blue. Arthur Soderberg attended the groom. Fifty guests greeted the bride and groom at a reception at the Micke home where breakfast was served.

The newlyweds will reside at Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). The groom is employed as telegraph operator by the Soo Line.
