Schultz, Malinda (Marriage - 28 June 1930)

Miss Malinda Schultz, daughter of Mrs. Louise Schultz, and Rod H. Markus, son of Franz Markus of Medford, were married at the Zion’s Ev. Lutheran church, Rev. O. H. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony, last Saturday afternoon, June 28th. Miss Esther Schultz, the bride’s sister, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Robert Strathman. Donald Wiersig, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wiersig, and Inez Ebert, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ebert, Jr., acted as flower carriers.

The bride wore a dress of white satin, ankle length, with veil and headdress, and carried a shower bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid wore a dress of coral satin and her bonnet consisted of carnations and sweet peas. The flower carriers were dressed in white.

Immediately after the marriage ceremony, a wedding reception was given at the bride’s home for immediate relatives, sixty-five in all being in attendance. Home decorations were white and pink streamers and garden flowers.
