Rajewski, Violet H. #2 (3 APR 1919 - 23 MAY 2007)

Violet H. Rajewski, 88, Colby, formerly of Loyal, died on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at the House of the Dove, Marshfield.. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 26, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, Wis. Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Gitter and the Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Pallbearers were Jerry Zettler, Charles Reynolds, John Reynolds, Clark Reynolds, Dennis Reynolds, Phil Reynolds and Mike Reynolds.

Violet H. Reynolds was born on April 3, 1919, in the town of Holton, Dorchester, to Fred and Mary (nee Stelzel) Reynolds. She married Peter Rajewski in 1963. He preceded her in death. She lived in Wisconsin Rapids and worked for Secret Service on the draft board. She later worked at the Montgomery Ward store. She moved to Loyal in 1978 and was the secretary and bookkeeper for St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She moved to the Angelus Retirement Center in Colby in 2002. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and needlework. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include sisters and brothers, Gladys Zettler, Loyal, Grace Wetterau, Medford, James (Leora) Reynolds, Dorchester, Tom (Elaine) Reynolds, Dorchester, Mary Ann (Joseph) Meyer, Medford, and Ted (Lourelle) Reynolds, Wausau.
