I came across this reference and will include it in my next newsletter, p. 6, Vol. 9, No. 2. Benjamin and Adam were the brothers to Rev. George Washington Longenecker which was in my article on pgs. 3-4 in Vol. 7, No. 4.

My research includes various spellings of the Longeneckers, which include the Swiss Langeneggers, and the various transliterations for the U.S. spellings Longacre, Longaker, Longnecker, Langenecker, Longecker, etc., through the early 18th century (1717?) to the present.

In the course of writing my newsletter over the past 10 years, I have literally file cabinets full of the history of the "Longeneckers." I really do not know where to begin. Perhaps my web site address is appropriate.

Cheers, Dick
