Bloedow, Elsie A. (30 DEC 1894 - 6 MAY 1939)

Miss Elsie Anna Emilia Bloedow, daughter of Carl Bloedow of the Town of Loyal passed away May 6th at the Neillsville Hospital, cause of death being cancer.

The deceased was born Dec. 30, 1894 and has been a resident of the Town of Loyal all her life. She has been ill for the past six years. She was baptized on Jan. 15, 1895 and confirmed April 4, 1909 in the Trinity Lutheran Church of which she was a member.

Leaving to mourn her loss is her father Carl Bloedow, her mother preceding her in death on June 18, 1917. She also leaves one sister, Martha Capelle, five uncles, five aunts, two nephews, and two nieces.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 9th at 2:00 P. M. from Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal and interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery, Rev. J. C. Langholz officiating.

Pall bearers were John Knoll, August Ehlert, Herman Konschak, Herman Lieska, Frank Stange and Frank Lindekugel.

Relatives from away attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. August Blado and daughter, Mrs. Charley Porath, Mr. and Mrs. Enno Gerjets, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Porath, Mr. and Mrs. LaMount Schumann, Mr. Christ Knack, Mr. Harry McKline all from Newell, Iowa.
