Brezinski, Agnes (31 MAY 1939)

At 8 A. M. on the last day of May vows were exchanged in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church which joined in wedlock Agnes Brezinski, foster daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Swirczinski of Beaver and Franklin Rueth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rueth of Loyal.

The double ring ceremony and the nuptial high mass were impressively conducted by Father Aloys Zinthefer.

The bride’s gown was of white satin, floor length and princess style. Her long veil was held with pearls and flowers in cap effect. Both gown and veil were lace trimmed and all of the accessories were white. She carried a colonial bouquet of roses, sweet peas, and carnations.

Bernadine Roth, who was chosen by Miss Brezinski for her bride’s maid, was gowned in floor length pink satin and wore a short veil held with flowers. Her bouquet was composed of sweet peas and carnations arranged in colonial style.

Norman Miller, the groom’s small nephew carried the rings in a calla lily. He wore a white linen suit. Lois Ann Langfeldt, a niece of the groom carried the trailing veil. Her dress was of white net over yellow satin.

The groom’s best man was Gilbert Loos. Both groom and best man wore suits of oxford gray.

Following the ceremony breakfast was served to the wedding party at the home of the bride’s foster parents and at noon they served dinner to about seventy-five guests. For these occasions the home was decorated in white, pink, and yellow streamers and garden flowers with an attractive wedding cake decorating the dining table.

A wedding dance was given that evening at the Silver Dome.

For the present Mr. and Mrs. Rueth will reside with the latter’s parents on their farm in Beaver.

Guests from away who attended the wedding were the bride’s father Bogmiul Brezinski, her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kuduk, her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Brezenski, two brothers Walter and Felix Brezinski, all of Hawkins and her foster brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Swirczinski of Chicago.
