Joseph H. Karasch, 29, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died at a local hospital Tuesday forenoon after a lingering illness. He is survived by his widow and two children, Roger and Arline of Thorp; his mother, Mrs. Mary Karasch, Eau Claire; six sisters, Mrs. Roy Bitney, Mrs. Forest Jones and Mrs. Jack O’Brien, all of Winona; Mrs. Gust Wallin and Mrs. Archie Maloney, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Thomas Feeney, Eau Claire, and one brother, Michael, Cornell.

Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. Thursday from the Eau Claire Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Church at Mondovi, the Rev. Father Mullenkamp officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Mondovi.

Friends may call at the Eau Claire Funeral Home this evening. Rosary will be said at the funeral home at 8:30 this evening.
