Thieme, Esther (Marriage - 18 May 1932)

Miss Esther Thieme, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thieme of Curtiss, became the bride of M. Seymour Gustafson, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Gustafson of Unity, at a ceremony performed at 7:30 Wednesday evening, May 18th, 1932, at the St. Paul’s Lutheran parsonage at Green Grove, Rev. M. C. Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Angeline Stammer acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Harry Thieme, his brother.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of crepe-black satin with veil and her bouquet consisted of sweet peas and roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of blue flat crepe and her bouquet also consisted of sweet peas and roses.

In the evening, a free wedding dance was given at Widenhoeft’s pavilion which was largely attended by friends and relatives.

The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to points in the southern part of the state and will be at home after June 1st in the town of Brighton.
