Roohr, Alyce (Marriage - 3 Aug. 1932)

Miss Alyce Roohr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roohr, and Mr. Louis Burhop, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burhop, were quietly married at the Presbyterian parsonage at Abbotsford, Wednesday, August 3rd, at 2:00 P.M., Rev. L. C. Smith reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Winona Roohr acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Chester Daines.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of pale blue flat crepe and her bouquet consisted of white roses, carnations and swansonians. The bridesmaid wore a dress of ashes of roses flat crepe and her corsage bouquet consisted of carnations and swansonians.

A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with blue and white crepe paper for the occasion. In the evening, a free wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft’s pavilion which was largely attended by friends and relatives.
