Chris, Clara (Marriage - 13 Dec. 1932)

A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Bernard’s Catholic church at Abbotsford Saturday morning at nine o’clock when Miss Clara Chris, daughter of Mrs. Frank Chris of Abbotsford, became the bride of Mr. Adolph Kleinstick of the town of Holton. Rev. J. R. Gaffney performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Ben Chris of Gary, Ind., wore a dark brown crepe dress, with accessories to match, and carried Johanna Hill roses and white swansonias.

Miss Lucianne Chris, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Miss Kathryn Carpenter attended as bridesmaid. Both wore brown crepe frocks, with harmonizing accessories and wore corsage bouquets of roses, snapdragons and pompoms.

Bernard Erman attended as best man and the groomsman was Clarence Trevale. Louis Dorin and Clarence Chris ushered.

A reception was held during the day at the home of the bride’s mother, to eighty-two guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Kleinstick are residing with the bride’s mother.
