Miss Lorraine Margaret Lupient, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lupient, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Adolph M. Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hanson, Viroqua, at a ceremony performed Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock.

The single ring service was read by the Rev. A.M. Anderson, pastor of the Norwegian Lutheran Church of Curtiss, at the home of the bride’s parents in the presence of immediate friends and relatives. Decorations for the occasion were in yellow, blue and white.

Preceding the service Mrs. Georgia Fitz of Abbotsford sand, "I Love You Truly," and "O Promise Me," and Mrs. Alta Lupient played the wedding march.

Miss Marion Lupient, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid, and Oscar Hanson, brother of the groom, was best man. Ronald Moecker acted as ring bearer.

The bride was attired in an ankle length gown of pale blue silk organdy and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and baby’s breath. The bridesmaid wore a frock of yellow silk organdy and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.

After the ceremony a small reception was held for immediate friends and relatives, and dinner was served at 6 o’clock. Covers were laid for 24.

The bride is a graduate of Abbotsford, Wis. High School and has made a special study of music. The groom holds the position of milk tester for Curtiss and Owen, Wis. He is a graduate of the River Falls Normal School.

Mr. and Mrs. Hanson left on a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin, and on their return will make their home in Curtiss, Wis.
