Gosse, Anita (Marriage - 11 May 1933)

A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Mary’s Catholic church last Thursday morning, May 11th, at nine o’clock in the morning when Miss Anita Gosse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gosse, became the bride of Mr. Arthur Schuh, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schuh, Jr., Rev. L. J. Lang reading the marriage ceremony. Dorothy Schuh, sister of the groom, acted as maid of honor and Viola Gosse, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Anthony Schuh and Leo Biel.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of orange net over taffeta with hat and slippers to match and carried a shower bouquet of roses, sweet peas and carnations. The maid of honor wore a dress of green taffeta with puff sleeves and white hat and slippers and her corsage bouquet consisted of roses, sweet peas and carnations. The bridesmaid wore a dress of blue crepe with puff sleeves and a white hat and her corsage bouquet also consisted of roses, sweet peas and carnations.

A wedding reception was held, following the wedding ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in rainbow colors for the occasion.

The newlyweds will make their home on the farm of the groom’s parents.
