Burhop, Alvina (Marriage - 18 Nov. 1933)

Mrs. Fred Burhop, Colby, announces the marriage of her daughter, Miss Alvina Burhop, to Gustave Gollhardt, son of Mrs. Frank Gollhardt, of Sheboygan. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. C. Paul Nulton at the parsonage of the Methodist Episcopal church in Colby Saturday evening at 6:00 o’clock, November 18th. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother, and, at 7:00 o’clock, a dinner was served to immediate relatives. The room was trimmed with streamers of blue and white.

The bride wore a suit of blue crepe with accessories to match and her attendants were Miss Lydia Burhop as maid of honor and Mrs. Harrietta Sieber as bridesmaid. They were also dressed in blue. The groom was attended by Henry Sieber. Mr. and Mrs. Gollhardt will live with the bride’s mother for the present.
