Michael J. Butala

Willard--Michael J. Butala, 75, a former Willard resident, died Thursday at his home in Detroit, Mich.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Detroit.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Cemetery in Willard, with the Rev. Michael G. Mertens, pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church, officiating.

Local arrangements as in the charge of the Rinke Funreral Home at Greenwood.

Mr. Butala is survived by his wife, the former Frances Lamovec; a daughter, Mrs. Toivo (Olga) Torokko, Ashland; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine McKee and Mrs. Anna Custer, both of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Joseph, Tomah, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Butala, Michael (? – 20 May 1976)

Graveside services were held May 24, at the Holy Family Cemetery, Willard, with the Rev. Michael Mertens officiating, for Michael Butala, 75, of Detroit, Mi., who died May 20.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Frances (Lamovec) Butala of Detroit; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Olga) Torokka of Ashland; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine McKee and Mrs. Anna Custer of Cleveland, Oh.; a brother, Joseph Butala of Tomah; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
