Flink, Andrew Gustof #2 (21 Jan. 1853 - 2 May 1941)

Unity, Wis. - Andrew Flink, 88, a resident of Unity for many years, died this morning at 10:30 o’clock in Milwaukee at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Dallman, where he and Mrs. Flink had been spending the winter months.

The body will be taken to Unity for funeral services, which have been tentatively arranged for Sunday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church, of which the Rev. J. A. Olson is pastor.

Mr. Flink was born in Sweden Jan. 21, 1853, and was married there Aug. 15, 1878. The Flinks observed their 62nd wedding anniversary last August.

Mr. and Mrs. Flink’s son, August, was three years old when they came to the United States. They lived at Unity for 57 years, but for a number of years they spent the winter months in Milwaukee at the William Dallman home, and the summer months in Unity with another daughter, Mrs. Sam Stark.

Surviving besides Mrs. Flink are nine children: Mrs. Sam Stark, Ted, Carl and August Flink of Unity; John and William of Minneapolis; and Oscar, Jennie and Mrs. William (Marie) Dallman of Milwaukee, besides a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Three children preceded him in death.
