Huber, Adela (24 July 1903 - 25 Oct. 1987)

Spencer, Wis. - Adela Huber, 84, Spencer, died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. The Rev. William Ruhbusch will officiate and burial will be in the West Spencer Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Michael, Greg, Randy, Larry, Steve, and Tom Huber. Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Bushman, Allan Mayer, John Kruse, Brian Olson and Rob Wagner.

Visitation will be at the Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

She was born July 24, 1903, in Spencer to August and Elizabeth Hoops. She attended Spencer schools. She was married to Edward Huber on July 6, 1924, at Spencer.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid. She was also a 50 - year member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, David of Marshfield and Elroy of Spencer; a sister, Laura Wry of Spencer; a brother, Wilbur Hoops of Marshfield; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband on Nov. 7, 1986, her parents, and two brothers.
