Laube, Margaret (1 OCT 1858 - 11 JUN 1933)
The death of Mrs. Carl Laube occurred last Sunday. Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Powell officiating. Interment was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Deceased was born in Germany Oct. 1, 1858. She was united in marriage to Carl Laube in 1883. She came to this country about 37 years ago, first residing at Davenport, Ia. For about a year. Then they moved to Rock Island, Ill. They came to Owen Nov. 1, 1908, and settled on a farm in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.).
Those left to mourn her death are six children: Frank Laube of Rock Island, Ill., Carl Laube of Chetek, Mrs. William Ferkel of Milan, Ill., Marie Laube of Wauwatosa, Philip of Owen, and Henry of the town of Green Grove, also ten grandchildren.
