Pacholke, Ruby (Marriage - 12 Sept. 1933)

A very pretty autumn wedding took place at the St. John’s Ev. church Tuesday afternoon, September 12th, Rev. G. F. Hahn reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Ruby Pacholke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pacholke, became the bride of Mr. Edwin R. Fults, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fults of Abbotsford, Wis. Miss Viola Gries acted as maid of honor and Miss Mae Henkel as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Mr. Robert Waech of Abbotsford and Mr. Howard Pacholke of Colby. Garden flowers were the decorations for the occasion.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white satin with lace jacket. Her tulle veil was arranged in cap effect and was caught with orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of roses and swansonians. Miss Henkel wore a dress of peach organdie and her corsage consisted of roses and asters. Miss Gries wore a dress of blue organdie and her corsage consisted of roses and ferns.

After the marriage ceremony, a wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, covers being laid for 150 at a wedding supper. The home was nicely decorated with white, peach and blue streamers, garden flowers and foliage for the occasion.

In the evening, a free wedding dance was given at Widenhoeft’s park which was largely attended by friends and relatives. The newlyweds will make a wedding trip to Chicago and will attend the world’s fair, and, on their return, will reside in Abbotsford where the groom is employed at his father’s filling station.
