Funeral services for Allen Albert Schulz, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Schulz, whose death was reported last week, were held at the Zion Ev. Lutheran church Saturday, October 14, Rev. O. Hoffmann officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. The pall bearers were Junior Tesmer, Glen Frome, Richard Herrmann, Kenneth Herrmann. The flower girls were Marion Frome, Delores Schulz, Marcella Franz and Evelyn Herrmann. The deceased was born April 7th, 1932, and died Oct. 11th, thus reaching the age of one year, six months and four days. He leaves to mourn his early departure his parents, four brothers, Julius Calvin, Donald and a week-old baby, three sisters, Minerva, Lucille and Elaine, his paternal grand mother and grand father and his maternal grand parents and great grand mother. Also ten aunts, seven uncles, fifteen cousins and many other relatives.

Angels called thee, little darling, Called thee in thy early bloom; Now thy little form is lying In the cold and silent tomb. Small white hands are gently folded Quiet now thy dainty feet; Brightest eyes are closed forever, Gone the smiles that were so sweet. Sweetest, fairest, brightest flower, Darling of our hearts fond love; Oh, we miss thee every hour Since they called thee up above. Angels called thee, little darling, From all care and pain away To the realm of joy eternal, To that land of purest day. We will miss thee, oh, so sadly, You sweet cherub that we kissed, But we’ll meet thee, little darling In the home of perfect bliss.
