Diers, Olivia (27 Mar. 1908 - 13 Oct. 1933)

Funeral services were held at St. Anthony’s Catholic church at Athens Monday morning for Miss Olivia Diers age twenty-five, formerly of the town of Hull, who died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ignatius Diers, in the town of Rietbrock, Friday morning.

Miss Diers was born in Bancroft, Ia., March 27, 1908, and came to this community in the fall of 1919, when her father purchased the William Witte farm in the town of Hull, where the family lived up to four years ago. She had been an invalid for sixteen years.

She is survived by her parents, four sisters and seven brothers, Mrs. Roman Kass, Mrs. Joseph Wartner, of Marshfield; Mrs. John Wartner, of Birnamwood, Miss Armella Diers, of Rietbrock; Martin, Lindsey; Alphonse of Sheboygan; Otto of Marshfield; Leo of Dorchester; Joseph of Rietbrock; the Rev. Hugo Diers, Dorchester; and Anthony, Rietbrock.
