Personal Mention

Who Have Come, Who Have Gone, and Are Going Away - Other Gossip.

George Ure, Sr., of Lynn, was in city Thursday.

Free Converse, of Maple Works, was in the city Thursday.

J. L. Barber, of Christie, was in the city Friday.

Postmaster Joe Roy, of Merrillan, was in this metropolis Saturday.

Geo. Brooks, who has just returned from a trip to California, was in the city Friday.

Ed. Ketchum, of Greenwood, was in the city shaking hands with friends the latter part of the last week.

A. S. Eaton and family, of Greenwood, came in the A. O. U. W. reception Thursday evening.

William Glidden and family, of Maple Works, were in attendance at the A. O. U. W. reception.

Mr. C. F .Schulz and family moved into their house on Third street yesterday.

Ira Fiek and wife, of Fremont, came in to celebrate with the A. O. U. W. Lodge Thursday evening.

John Ure, of Lynn, was in attendance at the A. O. U. W. reception Thursday evening.

Alonzo Brooks and wife, of Lynn were in attendance at the A. O. U. W. reception, Thursday evening.

Lyman Withee had the third finger on his right hand badly bruised while loading a heavy pole on his wagon Thursday last.

Miss Cora Crossett was taken suddenly ill Saturday night. She is somewhat better now, although not yet able to be up.

Mrs. C. L. Chandler, of Greenwood was the guest of Mrs. B. F. French, while in the city previous to her departure for Plankington, Dakota, where she goes to visit a sister for a few weeks.

Judge Dewhurst, president of the Neillsville Bank, is making an extended stay among the old mills of Connecticut. During his absence Joe Morley should be addressed as President pro tem. This is by Mr. Morley’s own request.
