Roder, Veronica (Marriage - 22 June 1935)

Veronica Roder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alois Roder, and Lawrence Reichert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reichert of Milwaukee, were married Saturday morning, June 22, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Milwaukee, Rev. Denninger officiating. The couple was attended by Miss Dolores Roder, the bride’s sister, and Harold Reichert, the groom’s brother.

The bride was attired in peach chiffon crepe with a shoulder bouquet of rosebuds and carried a prayer book. The bridesmaid wore a gown of light blue chiffon crepe and a shoulder bouquet of mixed flowers.

Following the ceremony, a breakfast was served the bridal party and immediate family of the groom at the home of his parents. Late that afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Reichert arrived in Colby when a dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents, covers being laid for forty. The residence was decorated with garden flowers and blue, pink and white streamers.

The newlyweds will reside at 2239 N. 24th St., Milwaukee, where the groom is employed as salesman.
